"Serving Church, School, and Community"
My Brother Knights and Dear Ladies,
Where has this year gone? The end of the Fraternal year is drawing close. We still have some important events coming up.
At our May Business Meeting on May 9th. We as a council will be having Nominations for Officers for the 2012 - 2013 Fraternal Year. As I mentioned at our last meeting I am not planning on running for reelection as your Worthy Grand Knight. All positions are open except for Financial Secretary. If you are interested in running for Office please see one of the Committee Members, DGK Joe Turmel, Chancellor Paul Beaucage or Recorder Rick Ouellette, Elections will be held in June.
I encourage all members to attend the meeting on May 9th as we will also be voting on recipients for our Scholarships.
Tickets are available for the May Banquet being held on May 12 at Marco’s Restaurant. We only have 50 tickets available so don’t wait until the last minute. The cost is $12 per person.
On May 26th Deacon Emile Dube will be ordained to the Priesthood at 10am at Holy Family Church. I encourage the membership to attend to show support as our council supported him as a Seminarian.
On this Memorial Day let us remember all of the Men and Women who serve or has served our Country!
May you all have a wonderful month, Happy Mother’s to all who are mother’s!
Vivat Jesus
